This past week I started recording a new song called “Rise, Rise, Rise”. It’s about waking up with the morning sun, and has a positive feel to it. I used a sample of the song I recorded awhile back that I thought was cool where I recorded myself singing “rise” to a little beat I made on a Teenage Engineering OP-1. I used that sample to start the song, but then I needed a beat. I happen to be on a Discord with some creative friends, and one of those friends makes some beats on their Instagram channel. So I asked @beepb0t if I could use one of his beats into a song. I found a beat that would work with the song and added it into the mix. I also recorded some vocals and guitar in my room. From there I mixed everything together. It’s still a work in progress, but you can hear what I have so far in the sample below.
