“Live in Cambodia” album cover

Live In Cambodia

When I was doing a residency at the Rosewood Phnom Penh from June to September 2022, I recorded lot of my performances. So I picked out some of my favorite songs that I played and put them into a 27 song live album. I have been doing a lot of traveling since then, so it’s taken me a bit of time to go through hours and hours of recordings, pick my favorite takes, edit them, and then get them organized and uploaded to the digital platforms.

Angkor Wat in 2018

I have only been to Cambodia before this back in 2018 , when I was doing a residency in Singapore at the Ritz-Carlton. On my days off, I did a quick flight (2 hours) to Siem Reap, to experience the awe inspiring Ankor Wat.

So, going to the capital city Phnom Penh was somewhere I wasn’t really familiar with. But I realized that it is an amazing place, not because of the culture, food, or the temples. It was the people. the people are friendly, kind, and authentic. There is a beauty there in the people. I made some great friends while I was there, and I plan on going back to visit when I can.

Here are the tracks I picked for this live album:

  1. Ain’t No Sunshine

  2. Yellow

  3. Just the Way You Are

  4. Lovely Day

  5. Yesterday

  6. Fast Car

  7. Fix You

  8. Hotel California

  9. Come Together

  10. Just the Two of Us

  11. I’m Yours

  12. Stay With Me

  13. Diamonds

  14. Man in the Mirror

  15. Perfect

  16. Stairway to Heaven

  17. Use Somebody

  18. Something Just Like This

  19. I Wanna Dance With Somebody

  20. Blinding Lights

  22. Truly, Madly, Deeply

  23. Wonderful Tonight

  24. All of Me

  25. Hey Jude

  26. Country Roads

  27. Sweet Caroline

This is by far the best sounding live recording i’ve made so far. i’ve improved some of the audio recording quality, along with the editing and mastering tools to make it sound as crisp as I can. But it is all live! If you have enjoyed any of my live shows then this will bring back some of those memories. I hope you enjoy this album, and I hope to see you at a live show soon.
